Clearwell Appoints E-Discovery Veteran Dean Gonsowski to Its Executive Management Team

(Market Wire Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge) MOUNTAIN VIEW, CA, April 2 / MARKET WIRE/ --

Clearwell Systems, Inc., a leader in Intelligent E-Discovery, today
announced the appointment of Dean Gonsowski, Esq., as vice president of
e-discovery services. A former practicing attorney and general counsel,
Gonsowski will work closely with Clearwell's network of customers and
partners to streamline the most expensive and risky areas of electronic
discovery, including early case analysis, evidence preservation, legal hold
management, and review. As enterprises deploy e-discovery solutions, they
will benefit directly from Gonsowski's decade of experience helping Fortune
500 enterprises and AMLAW 100 law firms proactively and reactively manage
the discovery of electronically stored information (ESI).

"There is no question that enterprises are bringing elements of e-discovery
in-house and are seeking best practices that enable them to do so
successfully," said David Isom, Co-Chair of Greenberg Traurig's national
e-Discovery and e-Retention Practice Group. "Based on my experience working
with Dean, I am confident that enterprises will benefit from his litigation
expertise, e-discovery experience, and technology acumen as they drive to
lower the cost and risk of e-discovery."

Gonsowski has a long, successful track record of advising corporations on
how best to bring together the necessary people, processes and technology
to streamline critical business issues surrounding the discovery of ESI.
Prior to joining Clearwell, he was a managing director at Daticon LLC (a
Xiotech Company), and a director in the Discovery Services practice of
Navigant Consulting, Inc. Gonsowski has also held leadership roles at Fios
and S3 Partners, a computer forensics company which he co-founded. He has
been a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document
Retention and Production (WG1) since 2004, and teaches a series of
continuing legal education (CLE) courses on various e-discovery topics.

"Legal and IT have never been as intertwined as they are today, yet
significant gaps exist between these two disciplines especially as they
jointly attempt to meet the significant challenges associated with
escalating judicial deadlines and exploding data volumes," Gonsowski said.
"As the leader of Clearwell's E-Discovery Services group, I will provide
our flagship customers and partners with the best practices necessary to
defensibly and reliably bring components of the e-discovery process in
house."

"Dean has a strong background in litigation and e-discovery best practices
that will serve our customers and partners as they leverage Clearwell's
E-Discovery Platform to manage hundreds of cases," said Aaref Hilaly,
president and CEO of Clearwell Systems. "We are delighted to welcome him to
the executive team."

In addition to advising enterprises and service providers on e-discovery
best practices, Gonsowski will also be writing for E-Discovery 2.0, one of
the most popular e-discovery blogs. The blog is available at:
