Envox CT Connect 7 Now Avaya Compliant

By Susan J. Campbell

Envox (News - Alert) Worldwide, a global provider of Internet protocol (IP)-voice solutions, has announced that Envox CT Connect 7 is compliant with key contact center solutions from Avaya (News - Alert).

This standards-based computer telephone integration (CTI) software is designed to provide significant benefit for the enterprise contact center. With the latest designation as Avaya compliant, this solution will benefit from the strength of Avaya, a global provider of business communications applications, systems and services.

"Envox CT Connect is one of the world's leading CTI (News - Alert) software products and customers have been using it in combination with Avaya switches with great success," said Leo Casey, president and CEO of Envox Worldwide, in a Monday statement.

"This compliance rating from Avaya is proof of the continued efforts by both organizations to create best-in-class contact center solutions."

Envox CT Connect has been designed to be a robust and reliable CTI solution that will enable the development and deployment of voice self-service, contact center and unified communications solutions for IP and TDM networks, at significantly lower costs, by providing out-of-the-box integration with the leading IP communications systems, Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) and IP communication environments.

Envox CT Connect offers support for industry-standard hardware, operating systems, network services and call control programming interfaces such as C, C++, Java and ActiveX. In doing so, the application enables value added resellers, system integrators and application developers to easily integrate intelligent call control features into existing business applications.

The Envox CT Connect product is compliant with Avaya Communication Manager 5.0 and the Application Enablement Services 4.1 supporting both the ASAI and TSAPI protocols.

Envox Worldwide is a member of the Avaya DevConnect (News - Alert) Program. This program was created as an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company's investment in its network.

As a Gold member of the program, Envox Worldwide can submit products for compatibility testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab in Lincroft, N.J. where a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify Avaya compliance.

"By offering compliance testing to the many innovative companies like Envox who are members of our DevConnect Program, Avaya promotes fully interoperable solutions that help businesses unleash powerful new possibilities," said Eric Rossman, vice president, developer relations and technical alliances, Avaya, in Monday’s statement.

"They are able to use Intelligent Communications to connect employees and customers to information from wherever they are, over whatever device they have available -- getting more out of their multi-vendor network and delivering new value to their bottom line."

As companies continue to experience increasingly intensive competition within their industries, differentiation is often found within their customer service offerings. To achieve this level of service, contact centers must often rely on robust solutions to drive innovative applications.

The Envox CT Connect was designed to address the needs of the contact center today. To earn Avaya compliance grants Envox greater strength in the market and access to opportunities that were previously out of reach.
