Argela Technologies (News - Alert), a subsidiary of Turk Telekom, Turkey's top telecom provider, has integrated GIPS VoiceEngine Mobile for high call quality on its TT WiRO calling service. 


Global IP Solutions (News - Alert), or “GIPS,” is an enabler of IP multimedia processing solutions. GIPS VoiceEngine Mobile is said to offer application developers, service providers and hardware manufacturers the ability to build solutions that offer HD voice, and also overcome network problems.

Argela has been enabling telecom operators with turn-key next generation solutions and to further strengthen its offerings the company has been building a continuous relationship with its partners and customers. TT WiRO is a service that is said to allow its customers to avoid international roaming costs.

The TT WiRO mobile soft-client allows Argela customers to be charged under their home or office phone line for calls made from any location either using a Wi-Fi supported mobile phone or laptop. 

To further ensure that callers have the best experience, Argela official said that the company has tapped GIPS to provide carrier-class voice quality.
